Yes, I went to the Louvre, the Musée D'Orsay, the Eiffel Tower, Champs Élysées, Giverny, and all of that. But the one really dorky touristy thing I did, and geeked out over, was this.
Lunch at Café Des Deux Moulins, the restaurant in "Amelie" where Mlle. Poulain worked.And had a Croque Madame.
It was my last Friday there, and I was feeling sentimental, and couldn't resist. The sun was brutal that day, but the experience was lovely.
And then I followed it up by meandering rather randomly over to Au Marche De La Butte, also from the movie.
But I continued on my merry way and found lots of other gems in the neighborhood of steep hills and white walls.
