I found this online randomly one day and it makes me laugh so hard every time I look at it. When Kerri and I went to the Louvre last week, we saw the real version and all I could think of was this caption.

New Discoveries

 

A travel-themed store of wonders in the 3rd arrondissement, filled with dreamy things like leather satchels, hot air balloon models to hang from the ceiling, travel journals made specifically for the boutique by a book maker in Italy, marble scale models of world-famous monuments, and globes. Globes GALORE. Even globes that glow.

And Square Temple, an absolutely gorgeous park also in the 3rd arrondissement, situated so squarely in the city that you can hear traffic from all over... but that doesn't take away from the magic of its tulips and water lilied pond and joyful, colorful playground.

I just came across this photo from our family trip to Hawaii back in 2008. Nathan and I had just had a fight over seat belts (I vehemently thought he should wear his, he vehemently disagreed). I love this photo because I have a smile like "HAY GUYS EVERYTHING'S GREAT" and kind of wanted to document the moment, and Nathan is so pissed off, and Mom's patting his leg and smiling at him like, "Let's just all have a good time together." And that's why I love my Mom.
